Ingredients
for 2 servings
FRENCH TOAST
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk(240 mL)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 slices bread
CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE
- 4 oz cream cheese(115 g)
- ¼ cup heavy cream(60 mL)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar(40 g), plus extra for garnish
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Preparation
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
- Dunk 2 slices of bread at a time in the egg mixture.
- In medium bowl mix cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
- Stack and drizzle with cream cheese mixture.
