A 4.94-ounce bag costs $2.69. I have never seen these before, so I think they might be new. Is it sad that I visit Trader Joe’s often enough…and walk down every aisle each time…to spot something new? The description on the bag reads, “…peanut-shaped milk chocolate filled with peanut butter & crispy rice.”
Let’s review Trader Joe’s Crispy Peanut Butter Filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts.
She says: Well, I’m in love. The creamy peanut butter enveloped by a thick milk chocolate shell – think peanut butter cups. But, what MAKES these for me are the bits of crispy rice. Not too much, not too little…just right. My only complaint: there aren’t enough in the bag. Or maybe…there are too many in the bag, and a single-serve pack would be the better option for me and my waistline.

He (Mr. E) says: The crispy rice is the ingredient that makes this a treat for my taste buds. Great balance of chocolate and PB! Serving size of 3 pieces might work for some people. But for a novice taste-tester like me, I chose to do a second round. If you like milk chocolate, these won’t disappoint!
