Gluten Free Green Nutritious Smoothie

This delicious smoothie is the perfect start to your day!

 

Ingredients

2 cups (500 ml) coconut water, chilled

2 handfuls of baby spinach leaves (750 ml [3 cups])

3 celery stalks, chopped (250 ml [1 cup])

1 Granny Smith apple, cored, cored and chopped

1 medium banana (frozen)

1/2 lemon, peeled and seeded

125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh parsley leaves

1 avocado, pitted and peeled

1 piece 2.5 cm (1 inch) ginger, peeled and chopped

Steps

 

Put all the ingredients in a blender.

 

Cover, then blend on medium speed until very smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

 

Pour into three glasses to serve
