The German portal “Haute.d” reported that digital aging means the appearance of wrinkles in the skin due to the use of electronic devices.
The German portal explained that electronic devices such as smart phones and tablet computers emit blue light that prevents the secretion of the hormone “melatonin”, known as the sleep hormone.
When this hormone is deficient, healing and regeneration processes do not occur in the body, and very aggressive oxygen molecules are generated, which destroy the structure of cells, cause the skin to lose elasticity and lead to the appearance of wrinkles on it, especially in the cheeks and chin.
The skin also becomes dry and suffers from redness and irritation. In addition, tear sacs develop.
To avoid these serious consequences, you should stay away from digital devices at least 30 minutes before bedtime, and care products that contain a blue light filter (blue light protection cream) should be used.
