Anti-aging: The secrets to regaining beautiful skin

Our skin is a reflection of our health and well-being. A bad diet, physical and / or psychological fatigue, attacks due to natural elements, pollution, too little water consumption and here is our thirsty, dehydrated skin, which loses its suppleness and velvety. Very quickly, fine lines and wrinkles appear.

Here are some tips to limit the effects of time on your skin and your body.

1ST SECRET: THE SCRUB

Done twice a week, the exfoliation allows the elimination of dead cells all over your body. It also promotes absorption of the skincare products you use. Your skin will give it back to you: it will be immediately softer

2ND SECRET: BREAKFAST

Eating only fruits for breakfast will give you incredible energy, and above all, glowing skin. It is necessary to favor fruits rich in vitamin C (papaya, strawberry, orange, kiwi). This nutrient is essential for producing collagen, the protein in fibers that gives the skin its incomparable strength and resistance.

So if you want to regain the skin of your 20s, stock up on fresh fruit in the morning!

And for maximum efficiency, also prepare “boosts”. Juicer any fruits and vegetables of your choice and drink a tall glass.

Drinking fruit in the form of juice allows you to consume a lot more and therefore to emphasize these vitamins and antioxidants, so important for our health and our beauty. If possible, opt for organic fruit in season.

3RD SECRET: THE MOISTURIZER

After a careful cleansing of your skin, apply on the body and the face a cream rich in hydrating agents (which plump the skin): shea butter, or argan oil for example.

This will allow you to avoid the appearance of small wrinkles on the face and breasts.

4TH SECRET: FAVOR FOODS WITH A LOW GLYCEMIC INDEX

Excessive consumption of foods with a high glycemic index (also known as “fast sugar”) stimulates the production of excess insulin. This high level of insulin leads to excessive production of sebum, which is responsible for blocking the pores of skin cells and therefore affects the condition of the skin.

Did you know ?

The glycemic index of a food provides information on the ability of this food to raise blood sugar (= your blood sugar level) after a meal. Indeed, certain foods release their energy more or less quickly in the body.

– If the glycemic index of a food is high (which is the case for potatoes, baguettes and all white flours in general), this means that the carbohydrates (sugars) in this food will pass very rapidly in your blood, causing a high blood sugar response (a spike).
– If, on the contrary, the glycemic index is low (which is the case with lentils, whole grains), this means that the carbohydrates in this food pass slowly into your blood; the glycemic response is weak (very weak peak).

For it :

  • Prefer cooking your pasta al dente, the glycemic index will be lower, unlike well-cooked pasta.
  • Choose whole grains (wholemeal bread, brown rice); their fiber content promotes a low glycemic index, unlike refined grains.
  • Eat pulses, their glycemic index is low!
  • Limit sweets such as cookies, candies, sodas, and others

5TH SECRET: LIMIT PROLONGED SUN EXPOSURE THAT DAMAGES YOUR SKIN

Use sun protection with UVA and UVB filters to prevent the appearance of small brown spots, due to successive exposures.

6TH SECRET: NIGHT CREAM

At night, everything is calm and your skin lies in the dark, in an atmosphere where the temperature and humidity are constant. The skin is thus more receptive to nourish itself and regenerate itself. Your night cream will therefore help your skin to regenerate and compensate for the deficiencies that appear over time, while protecting it from free radicals.

7TH SECRET: GOOD NUTRITION

To build, renew and function well, the skin needs essential nutrients, such as vitamins (vitamin A, C and E which are antioxidants: they protect your skin by trapping free radicals which “attack” it) and trace elements (selenium, an antioxidant), copper (participates in the elasticity of your skin), and zinc (promotes cell renewal and healing).

A balanced diet also provides you with “good” fatty acids (omega 6 and omega 3).

Your coach’s advice: choose fruits and vegetables, sources of vitamins and minerals, and vegetable oils rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids (sunflower oil, grape seed oil).

8TH SECRET: DRINK

Drink to hydrate your body but also to cleanse it and eliminate toxins and thus maintain beautiful skin!

Here are three rules for staying well hydrated:

  1. When leaving in the morning, take your water bottle with you, for example a 1 liter bottle. Then try to go to a liter and a half.
  2. Drink at least 1 glass of water 20 minutes before each meal.
  3. If you can’t drink plenty of water, try herbal teas or green tea (my slimming darling). These drinks also help keep you hydrated.
