Tomatoes boost male fertility by 70%

A recent American study revealed that eating tomatoes contributes to enhancing men’s fertility and improving their ability to reproduce.

 

The researchers found that the substance “lycopene”, which gives tomatoes their red color, contributes to increasing the number of sperm by 70%. This substance also enhances men’s fertility and improves the quality of sperm, in addition to reducing the number of sperm that have a defect or defect.

 

According to the British newspaper “The Independent”, experiments are currently being conducted on some sterile male volunteers, by giving them a daily food supplement high in lycopene to see if this will lead to an increase in the birth of children.

 

Previous studies revealed that this substance found in tomatoes contributes to reducing the chances of the prostate gland being affected by various diseases.
