12 square puff pastry dough
4 tablespoons of oil
1 onion (chopped for dinner)
100 grams of mushrooms (chopped)
1 bunch of spinach (picked and cleaned)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 glass of cream
6 tablespoons of grated cheddar cheese
How To Make A Volovan Recipe With Spinach And Mushrooms?
To shape puff pastry dough; With a large round cookie cutter or a glass spout (think of it as the spout of 1 cup), cut the puff pastry dough into a round shape.
Set the 6 large circles aside and cut the remaining 12 circles again with tea glasses or cookie molds in those sizes. You will get 12 pieces of dough in the shape of a hollow circle.
Carefully place the circular puff pastry on the puff pastry that you have separated as 6 base and after brushing the edges with water, stick the second circle on it. Make holes with a fork so that the middle of the puff pastry does not swell.
Apply this process to all puff pastry and place them in the ovenware lined with baking paper at intervals.
Bake the puff pastry in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes.
To prepare the filling; Heat oil in a large pan.
Add the chopped onions and fry them until they turn pink.
Add the chopped mushrooms and sauté until the water is drained.
Then add the spinach to it and continue to sauté.
Add salt, pepper and cream and cook for 1-2 minutes, then remove your mixture from the stove.
Place the spinach mixture into the puff pastry you take out of the oven, sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on it and bake for 4 more minutes.
