Natural ways to remove burn marks


Honey: Honey is used to make many medications that are used to treat burns, but it can be used in its natural form to treat the effects left by burns, as it prevents the production of excess collagen and the accumulation of dead skin cells, by mixing a spoonful of honey with a spoonful of baking soda. Massage the burn site with the mixture for three minutes, then cover the affected area with a warm towel for a quarter of an hour, then wash the place with warm water. Repeat this process daily helps treat the effects of the burn.


Lemon juice: Lemon contains alpha hydroxy elements that help treat skin damaged by burns and regenerate dead cells. It is used to treat the burn site, by placing lemon juice on the burn site and then leaving it until it dries, then washing the place and applying moisturizer to the burn site, and repeat. This method is done twice daily for several weeks.


Apple cider vinegar: The acidic properties of apple cider vinegar exfoliate and remove dead skin, and it is used in the process of treating the effects of burns by moistening a cotton and wiping it on the burn site, leaving it for a quarter of an hour until it dries, then washing it with water and applying a moisturizer in its place.


Cocoa butter: Cocoa butter is considered a good moisturizer for the skin, because it contains vitamin E, which repairs damaged body tissues and renews them. It is used to treat the effects of burns by washing the burn site and then drying it. Then we massage the burned area with cocoa butter in a circular motion, and repeat this process three times. At least weekly.


Coconut oil: Coconut oil is used for this by heating a spoonful of coconut oil until it becomes warm, and massaging the burn site with it until it is absorbed, and repeating this process several times a day helps to treat skin cells and soften it.
