Dr. Mohamed Helmy, a specialist in physical therapy, obesity and thinness, pointed out that diabetes is one of the most common diseases, and is also considered one of the most dangerous diseases to human health.

Helmy added that many diabetics may become infected without feeling it, and symptoms begin such as extreme hunger, inability to control urination, in addition to the emergence of some health problems that may occur to the patient, such as retinal detachment, kidney disease, heart disease, and nerve disease. Genetics may be the cause of diabetes, as well as weight gain.

Helmy offers some tips to get rid of diabetes and maintain general health, including:

1- Reduce eating red and processed meat, such as hamburger and sausage, and replace them with white meat, fish, and nuts.

2- Eating a lot of fish helps maintain human health and keep blood sugar stable.

3- Eat plenty of foods rich in vitamins and nutritional supplements, such as fish oil, which is rich in omega-3.
