This recipe makes 2 servings (2 cups).
Ingredients
- 500 ml (2 cups) quick-cooking oatmeal
- 2.5 ml (½ tsp) ground cinnamon
- 1 ml (¼ tsp) salt
- 90 ml (6 tbsp) natural peanut butter
- 60 ml (¼ cup) honey or maple syrup
- 2.5 ml (½ tsp) vanilla extract
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 325 ° F (160 ° C). Grease or line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix together oatmeal, salt and cinnamon.
- In the microwave or on the stove, melt the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Spread the mixture on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned, stirring gently halfway through baking. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
