Tulsi: a natural way to purify the skin

 

Tulsi, or holy basil, is a plant that grows in India and is highly regarded in the Ayurvedic medical community due to its many advantages. This plant belongs to the family of basil and has relaxing, sterilizing and anti-inflammatory properties.

 

A study conducted by Dr. Bhubesh Patel of Gujarat Ayurvedic University in Jamnagar, the effectiveness of this plant in fighting H1N1 influenza when taken soaked.

 

Tulsi also helps purify the skin thanks to its antioxidant, antiseptic and anti-toxin properties. The consumption of this plant facilitates the removal of sebum and clogging the pores. Here are some of the uses of the tulsi plant that will benefit your skin:

 

Tulsi as a treatment for acne

 

Take 10 to 12 leaves of tulsi, 7 to 8 leaves of neem and 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder. Prepare a mask by grinding tulsi and neem leaves, adding sandalwood powder and a little rose water. Apply the mask to clean skin, leave it for 20 minutes, and then wash your face. Sandalwood powder purifies and moisturizes the skin in depth, while the antibacterial properties of tulsi and neem reduce excess sebum and help prevent acne breakouts.

 

Tulsi as a treatment for dry skin

 

Take a few leaves of the tulsi plant and grind it to a powder. Add some sugar-free yogurt and mix it well with tulsi leaves powder. Apply the finished mixture on your face for 15-20 minutes.

 

Tulsi as a treatment for oily skin

 

The tulsi plant has antibacterial and cleansing properties, it cleanses the skin from the depths, helps close the pores and reduces the secretion of sebum responsible for the oily skin texture. To benefit from tulsi, mix tulsi powder with some water until you get a paste and put it on your face for 20 minutes and then wash your face. Adopt this recipe twice a week.
