How to make the best homemade face moisturizer.

Any lady that is using face moisturizer knows it’s important that’s why they can empty their wallets just to buy face moisturizer from stores. However, there are some ingredients that you can use to prepare your own. All these ingredients are cheap yet have benefits in our skin.

What is face moisturizer?

According to good housekeeping, Moisturizers are emulsions of oil and water (plus other ingredients for nourishing, treatment, and preserving) that help replenish hydrate, keep moisture in the skin, and dryness out. Experts say that hydrating is crucial for keeping skin youthful and healthy, even if you don’t have dry skin.

Homemade face moisturizer can be just as effective and luxurious as the products you buy at the store. Though homemade face moisturizer doesn’t contain all the unnatural ingredients, you know the ingredients you are applying on your skin and can remove any you think is undesired on your skin.

1 cup (0.24 l) coconut oil

2 tablespoons almond oil

2 tablespoons cocoa butter

1 tablespoon frankincense essential oil

1 tablespoon lavender essential oil

1. Put all the ingredients in the bowl, use a hand mixer to mix until smooth (in the absence of hand mixer, use a standard mixer or spoon to mix)

2. Transfer your cream into a small jar with a tight-fitting lid.

3. Use after a shower or each time you wash your face.

All the above ingredients are good for many skins. Let’s look at their benefits on our skin.

Coconut Oil helps to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles by keeping your connective tissues strong and supple. It also hydrates skin for 24 hours and helps to improve skin elasticity and collagen production.

Research shows that Almond oil has been use for centuries to treat dry skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis. It also improves acne. The oil’s fatty acid content may help dissolve excess oil on the skin, while the retinol in the oil may reduce the appearance of acne and improve cell turnover. Almond oil also helps reverse sun damage.

Cocoa butter is rich in natural plant compounds. These substances slow skin aging by protecting it against damage from the sun’s harmful UV rays. One common use of cocoa butter is to smooth scars, wrinkles, and other marks on the skin.

Frankincense essential oil reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin imperfections such as discoloration. It stimulates the growth of new cells.

Lavender oil kills bacteria and can prevent and heal acne breakouts. It unclogs pores and reduces inflammation when you put it on your skin. To use lavender oil for acne, dilute it in coconut oil or another carrier oil and apply it to your skin after washing your face.

~ Don’t leave the cream in a warm place, it will melt.

~ If it melts, consider storing it in a refrigerator.
