Data indicate that about 3 million people in the United Kingdom suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Researchers studied the eating habits of more than 2,100 people suffering from the disease and found a direct link between eating grapefruit and an improvement in disease conditions.
The new study, published at the annual meeting of the American Thoracic Society in San Diego, only shows a relationship between certain foods and improved lung function.
Eating grapefruit, bananas, fish, and cheese helps patients who suffer from the most common lung diseases, as a medical study showed that eating grapefruit may help in treating lung diseases, indicating that these types of foods, including cheese and bananas, help patients who suffer from the most common variables.
