vegetables
Choose zucchini and eggplant, which are easy to digest, ripe corn, fennel after removing the outer leaves from it, and lettuce. Also eat cucumbers after cleaning them well, and tomatoes after peeling them and cleaning them from seeds, because they cause acidity. You can also add coriander or caraway to dishes because they help digestion. On the other hand, forget about vegetables that contain tough fibers such as radishes, cabbage (white and red), and the green part of the leek. Also, stay away from peppers, as their skin and seeds are very difficult to digest, and peas, because they contain yeasts that cause flatulence in the stomach.
the fruit
Eat strawberries, apricots, pears, peaches and apples after washing them well. In contrast, forget about water-rich fruits, such as watermelon and cantaloupe (95 percent water). And if you feel a strong desire to eat this type of fruit, be satisfied with two small slices, without drinking a glass of cold water afterwards, otherwise flatulence will inevitably occur. On the other hand, cherries and peaches are excellent allies for flatulence, just like grapes and figs, so these types should be avoided, especially since they contain a large number of seeds.
Meat and fish
It is advisable to eat fish instead of meat, but fatty types of fish such as tuna, sardines, mackerel and salmon should be avoided. In the event that meat is eaten, it must be finely chopped to make it easier to digest, noting that white meat (i.e. poultry and veal) is easier to digest than red meat because it contains less fatty substances.
Milk and cheese
There is a small amount of fat in milk, even if it is whole. There is no need, then, to deprive the body of it. But with regard to cheeses, we must stay away from types that contain mold (such as blue cheese, Roquefort cheese, Gorgonzola cheese…) because they exacerbate the phenomenon of fermentation in the stomach.
