DIY Moisturizing Face Serum

Moisturizing Face Serum. You can moisturize your skin with a small amount of oil. Your face will be soft and refreshed and never oily. Aloe moisturizes and heals the skin (natural versions should be kept in the refrigerator) and glycerin is a natural moisturizer, meaning it draws moisture from the air like honey.

The ingredients of the moisturizing serum

1/4 cup aloe vera gel

2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerin

1 teaspoon of jojoba oil

1 vitamin E capsule (optional)

2-4 drops of essential oils such as lavender, chamomile or rose

Combine the ingredients in a small pump glass bottle and shake well to mix. Apply moisturizer to clean, skin at night. If you have used a vitamin E capsule, shake it before each use. If it is stored in the refrigerator, you can use it indefinitely.

Why jojoba oil?

Jojoba is an oil that is very close to the natural oil of our skin and you can use it for almost anything (like coconut oil). It is non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores. While moisturizing the skin, it prevents it from becoming oily. Plus, it’s packed with vitamin E, linoleic acid, and antioxidants that regenerate skin cells.

But if you don’t have jojoba at hand, you can totally make this recipe without it and your skin will still be perfect.
