Cherry Filled Brownie Cookies Recipe

How to make a delicious taste cherry filled brownie cookie, where cherry meets chocolate? Here is the cherry filled brownie cookie recipe 

FOR COOKIE DOUGH:

1 egg

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup oil

120 grams of room temperature butter

3.5 cups flour

3 tablespoons of cocoa

1 packet of baking powder

1 packet of vanilla

FOR CHERRY SAUCE:

1 cup of pitted cherries

1 teaspoon of starch

2 tablespoons of granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

FOR THE SHERBET: 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 + 1/4 cup water

FABRICATION

Put the sherbet ingredients in a saucepan, boil for 5 minutes and cool. For the cherry filling, put all the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally until it becomes consistency. For the cookie dough, put all the ingredients in a large bowl. Knead until you get a soft dough. Take walnut-sized pieces from the dough and open them in your palm. Place 1 cherry and a little sauce in between and cover. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 20 minutes. Dip the hot cookies in cold syrup one by one and remove. Serve with cherry sauce.
