The bladder is affected by many diseases, some of which are considered accidental, and some of them are chronic, such as bladder cancer, which takes the name of the bladder due to its appearance. It has a beginning, and most of its types are discovered at an early stage, as treatment is considered possible at this stage, and its symptoms appear in the form of blood in the urine, frequent urination, as well as painful urination, especially if it is accompanied by urinary tract infections, and back pain that appears at the beginning of the disease, noting that back pain It is not considered a confirmed indicator of the presence of tumors. It may be for any other reason. Pelvic pain is also considered a sign of advanced cases of the disease. This disease has factors that are considered risk factors, such as smoking and contracting schistosomiasis, especially in areas where it is widespread. Likewise, age has a role as one of the factors. Risk: The elderly are more susceptible to infection, as is the profession that leads to exposure to some chemicals, as well as previous treatments for cancerous diseases in the pelvis, especially radiation. A family history of infection with this disease remains a reason that raises the degree of risk of infection. For prevention, one must refrain from smoking and take caution in dealing with chemicals. Drink plenty of fluids, especially water, eat a healthy diet including a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, and get screened early.
