Benefits of tea tree oil for dandruff, eczema, and acne

Natural oils are a great way to care for hair and skin. They have traditionally been used to cleanse the skin and hair, and they also help reduce anxiety and pain.

One of the best essential oils is tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is extracted from the leaves of an Australian tree also called tea tree, and it has been used as an effective treatment in wound healing, burn care, and dental care for years. The main active compound in tea tree oil is called terpinen, and it is known for its ability to kill viruses, bacteria and fungi, making this oil useful for both health and home purposes.

Tea tree oil for acne

If you suffer from acne, the cause is the accumulation of bacteria, sweat and excess oils that settle on the surface of the skin, causing skin inflammation and the formation of pimples. Tea tree oil, as a natural antiseptic and anti-microbial, helps to get rid of these substances accumulated on the skin, thus masking pimples and preventing their recurrence or spread. Not only that, but it is also a natural anti-inflammatory, so it reduces redness and swelling.

How to use:

To use tea tree oil to treat acne, dilute two drops of tea tree oil with one tablespoon of any carrier oil, such as jojoba oil. You can also add three to five drops of tea tree oil to rose water to prepare a natural toner that can be applied daily to cleanse the skin.

Tea tree oil for eczema

Tea tree oil is useful for treating skin conditions such as eczema. This is due to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. You can use the same method mentioned above, mixing three drops of tea tree oil with a tablespoon of a carrier oil such as jojoba and applying it to the affected area twice daily.

Tea tree oil to eliminate dandruff

Tea tree oil can also be used to treat dry, dandruff-causing scalp. Applying tea tree oil to the scalp will help relieve itching, calm any inflammation, and fight dry skin, hence dandruff.

To use tea tree oil on your scalp, mix together five drops of tea tree oil and a spoon or two of a carrier oil, and apply the mixture directly to your scalp, and rub in gently. Leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes before shampooing your hair. You can also add a few drops of tea tree oil into the shampoo and use it your normal way.

Before using tea tree oil, be sure to do an allergy test to check for any adverse reactions
