Beauty tricks using baking soda to take care of your skin

Baking soda, or what is known as sodium bicarbonate, is a white chemical used in many cooking and pastry recipes, as it contributes to raising the cake. It is also a disinfectant. It is used in the manufacture of many personal hygiene and sterilization products to prevent infection and get rid of unpleasant odors.

In the cosmetic field, baking soda is used as a gentle exfoliator, face wash, and a simple home remedy for acne and various skin concerns. It helps to lighten the pores and clean the skin deeply, and also contributes to the rebalancing of the skin’s pH.

In addition to the various benefits of this active substance, women can include it in their natural mixtures in order to calm the itching, redness of the skin, and the dryness associated with eczema and psoriasis. In addition, baking soda helps increase the elasticity of the skin and prevents the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. However, when using baking soda on the skin, be careful not to leave it for long periods of time, as it may cause the skin to dry out.

Baking soda can be used on the hair instead of shampoo, as it has the same efficacy: getting rid of excess oils, absorbing unwanted odors, and removing residues of hair care products such as hair spray, conditioner and other products.
