An avocado hydrating mask

Here is a nuclear strike weapon against dry skin and hair: the avocado. Whether you consume it diced in a salad or creamed on the face, it will simply make you look beautiful.

Avocado

Composition:

Avocado contains vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, E, K), mineral salts (copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium) and trace elements (manganese, zinc) .

Avocado to regenerate your beauty:

Avocado contains all the ingredients for beautiful skin and shiny hair. Its high copper content ensures the production of collagen, which structures and repairs the body’s tissues. Phosphorus strengthens teeth and takes part, like vitamin B2, in the growth and regeneration of tissues. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects the cell membrane. Vitamin B9 plays an essential role in the production of new cells.

Antioxidant properties:

Avocado is rich in anti-oxidants, especially proanthocyanidins otherwise known as “tannins”. According to Dr. Julian Whitaker, proanthocyanidins are the most effective antioxidants, and their action is twenty times more powerful than that of vitamin C and fifty times more than that of vitamin E.

They are mainly found in grape seeds. These anti-oxidants protect the body from free radicals (pollution, tobacco, alcohol, etc.) and premature aging. These are therefore valuable antioxidants.

Self-tanning properties:

Consumption of avocado improves the assimilation of carotenoids (beta-carotene and lycopene). In short, to have a nice tanned complexion, add carrots and avocado to your menus!

SOS dry skin:

Here is a little tip for all those who have dry or dehydrated skin in winter: run to the fruit and vegetable section, and bite into an avocado! The consumption of avocados maintains good hydration of the epidermis. In addition, this fruit is naturally rich in monounsaturated fatty acids which nourish the skin cells. Avocado is your best ally for regaining glowing, silky skin.

The avocado and lemon mask is perfect for long-lasting moisturizing and softening the skin of your face.

How to make a minute avocado face mask?

To make a hydrating mask for your skin, you will need:

  •  a nice ripe avocado
  • 1 lemon, sliced and its zest
  •  1 tablespoon of argan oil (or, failing that, olive oil)
  •  1 tablespoon of sour cream
Preperation :

Chop the avocado with a fork and gradually add the lemon, oil and crème fraîche. Mix until you obtain a creamy paste.

Apply the mixture to your face starting with the neck and chin, then work your way up the bridge of the nose with an eye contour and finish with the forehead. Pay particular attention to the cheeks, chin and forehead, which are the areas of the face most prone to dryness and sunburn. Massage and leave it on for about 15 minutes.

If you have dry or damaged skin on your arms and legs, do not hesitate to apply this 100% natural treatment.

To remove this treatment, nothing could be simpler: use lukewarm water diluted with a little rose water. Apply two damp sponges to your face, starting with the neck, then working your way up gently through the chin, around the eyes and ending with the forehead.
