A warning sign in your stomach that may indicate fatty liver disease!

Non-alcohol-related fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is an umbrella term for a number of conditions caused by the buildup of fat in the liver.

If the condition is left untreated, it can cause a number of complications, and symptoms begin with a mark in the abdomen.

Those with early signs of the condition may develop cirrhosis, which is scarring of the liver that prevents the organ from functioning properly. Early symptoms of this type of liver disease include dull or aching pain in the upper right abdomen above the lower right side of the ribs, extreme fatigue, unexplained weight loss, and feeling weak.

As the condition progresses, symptoms become severe with the appearance of jaundice, known as yellowing of the skin and eyes, itchy skin, and swelling of the legs, ankles, feet, and abdomen. Cirrhosis is the most advanced stage of liver disease, which can lead to liver failure and sometimes life-threatening complications.

Although non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is not caused by alcohol, drinking the drink may make it worse, so it is recommended to reduce consumption.
