Good skin care – including sun protection and gentle cleaning – can keep your skin healthy and bright for years to come.
You don’t have time for heavy skin care? You can still spoil yourself with mastery of the basics. Good skin care and healthy life choices can help delay signs of normal age and prevent many skin problems. Start with those five valuable guides.
1. Protect yourself from the sun
One of the most important ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun. Lifetime sun exposure can cause wrinkles, aging spots and other skin problems – and also increase the risk of skin cancer.
For maximum sun protection:
Use sunscreen. A wide-spectrum sunscreen was used with at least 15 sun protection agents (SPF). Also, I use sun protection cream a lot and reuse it every two hours – or use it even more if you’re swimming or sweating.
I’m looking for the shadow. Avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., where sunshine is as powerful as possible.
Wear protective clothes. Cover your skin with tightly woven shirts with long sleeves, long pants and wide – edged hats. Think also about laundry additions, which give clothing an extra layer of UV protection for a certain number of laundries, or about wearing special sunscreen clothing – specifically designed to block ultraviolet rays.
2. Quitting Smoking
Smoking makes your skin look bigger and contributes to wrinkles. Smoking narrows small blood vessels in the outer layers of the skin, reducing blood flow and making the skin paler. This is also depleted of oxygen skin and nutrients important for skin health.
Smoking also harms collagen and elastin – fibers that give your skin strength and flexibility. In addition, repeated facial expressions that you do while smoking – such as joining lips when inhaling and closing your eyes half-blinding to keep out smoke – can contribute to wrinkles.
