5 Firming Face Mask Recipes

As we age, some problems with the skin begin to arise. Your skin produces less oil, which causes it to start to dry and yellow. To prevent this, you need to start taking action at an early age.

One solution is to choose skin tightening masks. Below are a few skin tightening mask recipes that you can easily make at home. Use any of these facial tightening masks at least once a week for younger looking skin.

1.Banana Face Mask For Skin Tightening

What you will need

1/2 ripe banana

1 teaspoon of olive oil

1 teaspoon of honey

Peel and mash the bananas so that there are no lumps. Add honey and olive oil and mix well. Apply the paste on your face and neck. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse it with warm water. Rinse with cold water one last time to close your pores.

Use this mask once or twice a week.

2. Egg Face Mask

What you will need

1 egg white

1 tablespoon of yogurt

1/8 teaspoon sugar

Separate the egg from the yellow and mix the yogurt and sugar on it. Apply the mixture on your face and let it dry. Rinse well with lukewarm water.

Apply this mask regularly, once a week. You will see results in a few weeks.

3.Oatmeal Face Mask

What you will need

1 tablespoon of oats

1 tablespoon of chickpea flour

1 teaspoon of honey

1. Grind oats to get a granular powder.

2. Add chickpea flour, honey and enough rose water to make a paste.

3. Apply this mask on your face and neck and let sit for 10 minutes.

4. Rinse with water.

Use this mask once a week.

4. Clay Mask

What you will need

2 tablespoons of bentonite or Kaolin clay

1 teaspoon of powdered milk

Water or rose water

Mix all the ingredients to get a thick paste. Apply evenly over your entire face and neck with your fingers or with a face mask brush. Let the mask dry for 10-15 minutes. Wash your face.

Repeat this once a week.

5.Castor Oil Face Mask

What you will need

1-2 tablespoons of castor oil

1 teaspoon of lemon juice OR a few drops of lavender oil

Add lemon juice or lavender oil over the castor oil and mix well.

Massage this mixture in an upward circular motion on your face and neck. Continue massaging for a few minutes. Keep it on your face throughout the night. Rinse first with lukewarm water, then with cold water.

Castor oil massage works best if done once or twice a week.

Caution: This mask is not recommended for oily and sensitive skin types.
