What are the causes of facial pain? And her treatments?

Facial pain, is pain in any part of the face and may include mouth, eyes, head or ears, Facial pain is described as tingling and convulsion. Facial pain usually results from headaches or injury as the majority of causes of facial pain are harmless, but it may be an indicator of serious illnesses, which requires a doctor’s visit in the event of a recurrence of pain.

Causes of facial pain:
– inflammation and oral infection.
– mouth sores.
– Mouth abscess.
– Tooth pain.
– Skin abscess.

Causes of serious facial pain:
– Herpes (shingles) of spatiality.
– Sinusitis.
– Migraines.
– Nerve disorder.

Types of facial pain:

 

– The type of pain varies depending on the factors causing it, when the pain is felt in one side of the face or around the mouth is due to problems in the mouth and teeth, or the presence of an abscess.
– When the anterior part of the cheek bone and the bottom of the eyes appears, pain becomes the result of sinus infections.
– In the case of wounds and sores, pain appears in the form of tingling.
– Causes headaches, facial trauma, or pulsating soreness.
– While the pain in the face begins and extends to the chest, especially in the left arm, the doctor should be called immediately, as the cause may be a sudden heart attack.

Diagnosis of facial pain:
– X-rays, or magnetic resonance imaging, which are useful examinations for the diagnosis of bone diseases, sinus diseases and which are treated after confirmation of diagnosis by prescribing appropriate antibiotics.
– Taking a blood sample to explore the presence of an infection, which can be treated with antiviral drugs, and in some cases heals without treatment such as shingles.
– Eye detection of the possibility and the atmosphere of eye problems such as high eye pressure measured by the doctor, in addition to examining the cornea to detect sores and blue water.
– While suspicion of heart problems the doctor resorts to cardiac tests and radiology such as cardiography to diagnose heart attacks or arrhythmias
