How to make a steam bath for the face

Ingredients

2 tablespoons of dried lavender flowers
2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers (you can also use the contents of a prepared chamomile tea bag) 500 ml of boiling water

method

Put the herbs in a large bowl.
Pour boiling water over enough herbs to cover and fill the pot.
Leave the water to cool slightly for 2-3 minutes.
Lay your face over the bowl for at least 10 minutes.
Then place a clean towel over your head so that it covers your face and the bowl but does not let your face touch the water.
Make sure that you find a comfortable place to sit while using this steam and relax.
Close your eyes and inhale the aroma “air” for 5 minutes.
Stop immediately if you feel dizzy or hot.
Use an astringent or toner to calm the skin and close the pores.
It is recommended that you do not expose your face to steam more than once or twice a week.
This steam should be used directly on the face and cannot be stored.

Dried herbs can be stored separately for up to a year but they start to lose their aroma after a while so it is best to keep them in a closed container out of direct sunlight
