It has proven its effectiveness as an exceptional nutritional ingredient due to its richness in antioxidants, and its ability to strengthen the immune system and resist premature aging of tissues. Therefore, it is recommended to drink a cup or two of it daily. In the cosmetic field, it can be used in the following mixtures that are easy to prepare at home.

 

 

Matcha powder is an ideal ingredient for skin and hair care. It can be used in the preparation of facial masks, lip balm, and even shampoo… It is also a stimulant and promotes hair growth. It is also anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant, which makes it useful for treating acne.

 

 

 

 

 

– Anti-acne mask:

 

To prepare this mask, it is enough to mix the juice of half a lemon, a tablespoon of honey, the white of an egg, and two tablespoons of matcha tea powder. Apply this mask for 30 minutes on your facial skin before rinsing it well and moisturizing the skin with the cream you usually use. It is recommended to apply this mask once a week.

 

 

– Lip balm:

 

Lip skin needs special care to protect it from dryness. To prepare this conditioner, it is enough to dissolve 3 teaspoons of vegetable oil (coconut oil, shea oil…) and add it to a teaspoon of matcha tea powder. Place this mixture in the refrigerator so that it freezes and turns into a balm that is easy to apply to the lips.

 

 

– A nourishing and hair growth-enhancing mask:

 

To prepare it, it is enough to mix two tablespoons of matcha tea with a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of coconut oil and a few drops of rosemary oil. Apply this mixture to the roots of the hair before styling it and leave it for 30 minutes, then rinse it with water and then wash it with the shampoo you are using. It is recommended to apply this mask once a week.

 

 

Dry shampoo recipe:

 

This recipe helps add some vitality to oily hair while it’s time to wash it. To prepare this dry shampoo, it is enough to mix the same amount of cornstarch or white clay powder with raw cocoa powder, adding to the mixture a few drops of rosemary essential oil and a teaspoon of matcha tea powder. This mixture is applied with a brush to the roots of the hair, which is then combed to distribute the product throughout the hair, which helps it absorb sebum secretions. Leave the lotion on the hair for 10 minutes before combing it to get rid of the remaining dry shampoo on it.
