European Botox injections

The best injectables are the ones you can’t see, says Lisa Goodman, founder of GoodSkin Clinics, which follows the European approach to Botox injections.

Lisa Goodman wants everyone to rethink using Botox. “Instead of using Botox for wrinkles, use it for lifting,” she says.

“We used to see all the celebrities, but people didn’t look better over time,” says Goodman, working for decades in the largest cosmetic and dermatological clinics in Hollywood, and after that she had the opportunity to work in plastic surgery in Paris, where she was introduced to European methodology and aesthetics. She immediately knew that she should bring these newly learned techniques to the United States, but her employer opposed them. So I founded GoodSkin, and Goodman is keen to make it clear that injections don’t mean a frozen face by leaving the marks of life, but rather the ability to keep clients looking like them, just a little better.

Different cultures in cosmetics

After spending some time in Paris, Goodman noted several key factors that make European women who get injections look more natural than their American counterparts. “The way the FDA organizes information in the United States and the way it organizes information in Europe is different,” she says. In Europe, [before and after] looks a lot better because they are allowed to promote what is considered an American off-label injection site… and they can’t use social media to advertise before and after there isn’t a lot of trend-following.”

European clinics do not have nurse injectors. While Goodman has nurse injectors in their own clinic and would love to get the price they allow, the training standard for European injectors is much higher and is based on science and anatomy.

Another factor, Goodman points out, is the lack of medical clinics and fast botox clinics in Europe, it’s all about getting diagnosed and getting the right treatment for you.

Goodman explains that as we age, we lose bone, muscle, fat, and fascia, which is connective tissue. By opting for a treatment that addresses what is unique to the aging process, patients can restore their face while still looking like themselves, resulting in a distinctive look, while male Botox can conjure up images of frozen-faced women with permanently surprised eyebrows, injections can be used. In a natural looking way.

“There are two schools of thought with Botox, you can use Botox to have no wrinkles, or you can use Botox to slow down the aging process, which is the time when you’re effectively treating what’s causing the wrinkle, by using Botox to lift rather than freeze the face,” Goodman says. your muscles and prevent what causes facial sagging in the first place
