Eat bananas for eight health benefits

Bananas are considered one of the most important tropical fruit crops all over the world. Southeast Asia, the Malawi Archipelago, and Australia are the original homeland of bananas. Bananas play an important role in the economy of many countries, in addition to their high nutritional value and health benefits.

Every 100 grams of bananas contain 89 calories, 2.6 grams of dietary fiber, 5.4 grams of starch, 12.2 grams of sugars (fructose and glucose), 0.3 grams of fat, 27 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, 46 mg of omega-6 fatty acids, and it is cholesterol-free.

 

 

 

Bananas are considered a rich source of vitamins, as they contain 64 international units of Vitamin A, 8.7 mg C, 0.1 E C, 0.5 K, 0.1, 0.2 mg Riboflavin, 1.5 mg Niacin, 0.4 B6, Banto Echinacea 0.3, 9.8 Choline. Bananas are also an important source of many vitamins. Of the minerals, including potassium 358 mg, magnesium 27 mg, phosphorus 22 mg, calcium 5 mg, fluorine 2.2 mg, selenium 1 microgram, sodium 1 mg, manganese 0.3, zinc 0.2 mg, iron 0.3 mg. Bananas are a nutritious and healthy fruit. It has many health benefits, including:

 

 

1.     Anemia

Bananas contain a good amount of iron, which is necessary for the production of hemoglobin, myoglobin, and many enzymes necessary for the formation of red blood cells.

2.     Blood pressure

Potassium is one of the most important electrolytes in the body, and works with sodium to help regulate and balance fluids, which is key to controlling blood pressure. A medium-sized banana contains  358 mg of potassium, and only 1 mg of sodium. So eating bananas helps regulate blood pressure.

3.     Quit smoking

Vitamins B6 and B12, potassium and magnesium found in bananas play a major role in helping the body recover from the effects of nicotine when you quit smoking.

4.     Muscle spasm

Potassium deficiency causes muscle spasm and increased susceptibility to injury. Including bananas in the diet on a regular basis for a person who exercises helps to obtain energy and prevent muscle spasms.

Bananas are called a mood food because they are rich in vitamins and minerals that enhance brain function by helping to produce chemicals that promote good mental health.
