Choose the prevention cream that suits your skin

In the summer, women resort to sunscreen, which protects their skin and face from the harmful rays of the sun. However, not all types of prevention creams are suitable for all skin types. Rather, each skin type requires a special type and different formulation of prevention cream. Learn to choose the right cream for your skin:

1- For sensitive skin: If your skin is sensitive, you should look for a sunscreen cream with a hypoallergenic formula and natural ingredients, away from synthetic ones, and free of fragrance. Look for a sunscreen cream that contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in its composition, because they protect your skin from the dangers of the sun and ultraviolet rays and do not harm it. Dermatologist Zoe Draelos confirmed that, “As a general rule, zinc is lightweight under makeup, and titanium protects the skin in the summer.”

2- For skin that suffers from acne: Some sunscreen creams may be very heavy and composed of sticky substances that exacerbate the acne problem. Therefore, Dr., a dermatologist at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, called on women who suffer from acne to look for a sunscreen with a formula that is free of oils and fragrances.

3- For dry skin: If your skin is dry, choose a sunscreen cream that contains moisturizing substances and natural oils, for example, glycerin and aloe vera. Avoid sunscreen sprays, gels, and gels that contain alcohol, which will lead to more dry skin.

4- For oily skin: If your skin is oily, avoid sunscreen that contains natural oils and minerals. On the other hand, look for a sunscreen cream that does not contain greasy substances and oils, thus preserving the freshness and purity of your skin.

5- For athletes: Athletes, especially those who practice swimming, need a water-resistant sunscreen that guarantees hydration of your skin for a period ranging between 40 and 80 continuous minutes, especially thanks to its formula that contains silicone and is more sticky than others.
