African food…the best in the world
Recent international studies on nutrition have reported that the population of the African continent has the best diet in the world, despite problems of malnutrition and deficiency in various parts of the continent.
The Chadians ranked first, thanks to their extensive consumption of fruits, vegetables, nuts and whole grains, according to a study recently published in the American scientific journal “The Lancet Global Health.”
While Sierra Leone, Mali, Gambia, Uganda, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Somalia were among the 10 countries with the best diet in the world, while the Belgian, Armenian, and Hungarian countries were ranked among the “worst” consumers in the world.
