Evidence for survival from the deadly Corona infection

With the spread of Coronavirus infections, the American doctor and well-known journalist, Dr. Oz, mentioned tips and guidelines to ensure protection and avoid infection with the deadly virus, according to what was published by the American “Fox News” news network.

In his interview with the “Fox & Friends” program, Dr. Oz offered a number of tips to help survive death due to infection with the deadly virus, as follows:

Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, and use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

• Disinfect surfaces using disinfectant sprays instead of cloths or wet wipes, so that germs do not transfer from one surface to another when they get stuck on them. It is advisable to leave the surface wet for 3 minutes before drying.

Get at least 7 hours of sleep every night.

Exercise regularly for 30 minutes a day.

Improve air quality by using humidifiers because viruses do not spread in moist air.

Meditate as it can support your immune system.

Avoid shaking hands, as Dr. Oz said that shaking hands transmits 10 times more germs, explaining that shaking hands with a firm and tight grip transfers one of ten germs accumulated on the palm. Dr. Oz advised that only a wide smile should nod.

Avoid touching the face with bare hands.

• The basic needs, which last for two weeks only, can be stored, provided that they are non-perishable foods that can be frozen in the fridge, medicines and household items such as toilet paper, soap and detergents.

• Eat foods and take vitamins that support the immune system. Eating leafy greens and fruits rich in vitamins such as citrus fruits, berries and kiwis provide your body with essential vitamins and minerals.

• Get a flu shot to avoid confusing seasonal flu with COVID-19 infection.

• If you are ill, take 80 milligrams of zinc per day, 250 milligrams of vitamin C twice daily, 250 milligrams of beta-glucan per day, and take elderberry syrup or lozenges 4 times per day for 5 days.

Dr. Oz said it is a good idea to follow these advice in general, even when there is no spread of a viral infection. He added that he believed self-quarantine was ineffective.

Dr. Oz explained that the definite benefit comes from following social and preventive behaviors such as not speaking, sitting close to others, and avoiding the handshake.

Dr. Oz added, “I think we are doing more harm to each other by triggering stress and anxiety from the virus than the actual virus threat.”
