What causes a dark neck?

Here are some home remedies that can help you lighten a dark neck

1- loofah

Exfoliation is one of the most important steps in getting rid of the darkening of the neck, so it is recommended to use a loofah to exfoliate the area during the shower, to make sure that the neck is completely clean, and that pollutants do not accumulate on it, but remember to use a gentle loofah, because rubbing vigorously will not remove dirt, but rather exposes your skin to inflammation.

2- potato slices

Potatoes are a natural bleach that helps whiten your skin, as it is rich in iron, vitamin C and riboflavin, which contributes to the care of your skin, so take a potato slice, and rub it on the dark areas of your neck in a circular motion for 5 minutes, then rinse it.

3- Aloe vera

Aloe vera contains an active ingredient called aloin, which reduces melanin (which is responsible for darkening the skin). And aloe vera or aloe vera not only helps to lighten the skin, but the cold gel also moisturizes the skin, provides comfort to the skin, and rid it of any feeling of itching, or dryness caused by darkening of the skin.

You can apply the gel, which is squeezed from the aloe vera leaves, directly to the neck, or you can dry the leaves in the sun, then mix the dried leaves with a spoonful of curd, and apply the mixture on the neck to clean it.
