A team of scientists has confirmed that men are better at following a diet than women. Men lose weight faster, in addition to being more careful about preserving the extra kilograms they lose, according to a study published by the Egyptian Middle East News Agency.
The study, which was conducted on 1,850 adults, said that men confirmed the ease of following a diet, as statistics indicated that men are better at losing weight over short and long periods of time compared to women.
The study conducted by an American university also revealed that men gain some weight at a slow pace compared to women, thanks to 28% of them following a balanced health regimen with exercise, while 23% preferred walking as the most popular option, so that cutting off fat came in third place. .
However, both men and women were reluctant to give up alcohol in an attempt to lose weight, while only 13% were willing to give up alcohol, and women were more willing than men to make this choice.
The study also found that women tend to set more realistic goals to lose weight, but they do not admit to this, in addition to their lack of will to stick to the diet schedule, in addition to being the most likely to combine exercise with a healthy diet.
