PREPARATION

1Prepare the sweet dough Pour the flour and salt into a bowl, add the butter cut into small cubes and sand (rub the butter with the flour). Then add the icing sugar, the almond powder and sand again. Finally add the egg and mix until you get a smooth, non-sticky dough.

2Do not hesitate to add more flour if the dough is still too sticky. Wrap the dough with plastic wrap and let stand for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator (let stand overnight if possible).

3Prepare the appliance Beat the soft butter with the sugar. Add the egg and the almond powder to mix gently until you obtain a homogeneous preparation.

4Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll out with a rolling pin so that it is about 2 mm thick (no more). Place the dough in a 22 cm diameter pie dish and line it so that it hugs the sides and you get a regular pie shell. Trim the excess dough around the edges.

To finish

Pour the mixture over the pies then arrange the currants on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 ° C.
