Turkey leg in the oven
Turkey meat is one of the types of protein recommended in diet programs because it is a light, white meat that is also rich in vitamins and minerals.
How to make a turkey leg in the oven
3 turkey thighs
Two medium onions
Two carrots
3 crushed garlic cloves
Tomatoes
1/4 tbsp spices (salt – pepper, cumin, bay leaf, thyme, ground cloves)
Lemon juice
Two tablespoons of oil
How to prepare
Cut the carrots and onions into strips to set the oven bag.
Add the onions, carrots, tomatoes, spices and lemon juice to the kibbeh and mix well, then add the oil and season with salt and pepper.
Put the turkey thighs in the marinade and mix well.
In an oven bag, place a layer of chopped carrots, onion, two cloves of garlic puree, bay leaf and a pinch of salt, pepper and cumin.
Place the seasoned turkey legs in the vegetable bag and seal the bag.
Leave it in the fridge overnight to infuse the spice.
Take the bag out of the fridge and poke some holes in it from the top to let the steam out, then place it on a baking sheet in the oven preheated to 180°C.
Each kilogram of turkey weight is cooked in about half an hour
