HANDCARE MASK

Prepare the best hand mask using these methods.

When your hands are dry and rough, lotion and cream alone may not be enough to care for your skin. Using a hand mask can provide more intense hydration and allows the soothing ingredients enough time to calm truly irritated skin. You don’t need to buy an expensive mask from the store, though. Make your mask at home with ingredients that are already in your kitchen. You can prepare the best hand mask with just two ingredients, or mix natural ingredients as follows:

Preparation of the nourishing potato mask for hands.
Throw away the potatoes. Place a small potato in a medium-sized pot and cover it with water. Place the pot on the stove over high heat until it boils. Let the potatoes boil for 5 to 10 minutes, or until you can easily pierce them with a fork. Lift the pot off the heat and drain the potatoes.
After draining the potatoes, let them cool for 10 to 15 minutes, or until you can comfortably touch them.
Potatoes help lighten the skin because they contain catecholase, which reduces dark spots by inhibiting melanin production. It also contains vitamin C, which helps with pigmentation, and natural starches that gently exfoliate, enhancing the skin’s radiance.
Mash the potatoes and add the oil. Place the chilled potatoes in a small bowl and use a fork to mash them. After that, add a tablespoon (15 ml) of olive oil and mix it with the potatoes to form a thick paste.
You can substitute sweet almond oil with olive oil if you prefer.
Put the mask on your hands and leave it on. When the potatoes and oil mix, carefully cover your hands with the mixture. Leave the mask on for at least 15 minutes to allow it to penetrate and soothe dry, irritated skin.
When applying the mask, gently massage in a circular motion for best results.

Preparation of a lemon mask for lightening the hands.
Mix all the ingredients. In a small bowl, mix two teaspoons of lemon juice, two teaspoons of honey, and two teaspoons of baking soda. I mix the ingredients together until they are completely blended.
The citric acid found in lemon helps to lighten dark spots and other blemishes on your hands. You can substitute lemon juice if you prefer that.
Rub the mixture on your hands and leave it. When the ingredients are completely mixed, carefully apply the mixture to your hands and rub it in a circular motion. Once you cover your hands, leave the mask on for 5 to 10 minutes.
Make sure your hands are clean before putting on the mask.
Rinse the mask with water. When you are ready to wash the mask, run your hands under warm water to remove it. Dry your hands by patting them, and apply hand cream. You can repeat the process up to twice a week to help get rid of the discoloration of your hands.
If you are going out in the sun after using a hand mask, apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 on your hands to protect them.
