Botox for stroke patients

The British National Health Service has indicated that muscle anesthetic drugs containing Botox have been licensed for use, so more patients will benefit from this to treat problems related to the limbs.

Botox has long been known as a treatment to hide the signs of aging, but it can also help restore the movement of paralyzed organs in stroke patients due to paralysis. The British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that according to an experiment in which 120 patients participated, researchers found that Botox injections enabled them to regain ankle control and movement.
